Hi Fin Red Banded Goby
Stonogobiops nematodes
Marine Marine Indo-Pacific
A diminutive goby decorated with diagonal red stripes and an impressive, elongated dorsal ray. It naturally forms a captivating symbiotic relationship with Alpheus pistol shrimps, sharing their sandy burrows. Provide a deep fine sand substrate and keep only with tranquil reef community species.
Also called: Black-rayed shrimpgoby, Black-rayed shrimp-goby, Filament-finned prawn-goby.
