Black-Stripe Dwarf Cichlid
Taeniacara candidi
Freshwater South America
A slender and elegant dwarf cichlid from the Rio Negro basin, known for its bold horizontal stripe and spade-shaped tail. Highly sensitive to water chemistry, it demands exceptionally soft, warm, acidic blackwater conditions and plenty of leaf litter cover to thrive in captivity.
