Three Spot Gourami
Trichopodus trichopterus
Freshwater South-east Asia Usually captive bred
Named for two body markings plus the eye making three, this adaptable fish is available in blue, gold, and opaline variants. Males can prove pushy and aggressive towards congeners, making broken sightlines and calm surface waters necessary.
