Featherfin Squeaker
Synodontis eupterus
Freshwater West and central Africa Usually captive bred
Distinguished by an impressive, feathered dorsal fin filament, this African catfish exhibits a mottled brown pattern. It frequently swims upside down while grazing overhangs and cave roofs. Bold and territorial over its daytime lair, it requires substantial caves and can harass other bottom-dwellers.
