Angelicus Catfish
Synodontis angelicus
Freshwater West and central Africa
One of the most striking Mochokidae catfishes, boasting a violet-black body adorned with bright white polka dots. Nocturnal and secretive, it fiercely defends favoured caves from rival catfish. Provide generous hollows and driftwoods so it feels secure enough to venture out for meals.
Also called: Angel squeaker, Angel catfish, Angelicus, Black clown catfish.

Diet and tank layout
Angelicus Catfish is an omnivore that swims in the lowest part of the tank. It is safe with plants. Give it plenty of cover. It will eat fish small enough to swallow.
