L235 Pleco
Pseudolithoxus anthrax
Freshwater South America
Also known as the flyer cat, this dark, flattened loricariid boasts expansive pectoral fins built to cling to rapids. It feeds eagerly on aufwuchs and algae wafers on smooth boulders. Exceptional water movement and saturation of dissolved oxygen are crucial for keeping this specialist species thriving in captivity.
