Blue Notho
Nothobranchius patrizii
Freshwater Africa Usually captive bred
A sparkling annual killifish from East Africa exhibiting bright sapphire-blue scales bordered by dark red reticulations. Thriving in dedicated nano setups, it demands high-protein live and frozen foods. As a true annual species, keepers should maintain the strain continuously through peat-substrate egg incubation.
Also called: Blue notho, Somali nothobranch.

Diet and tank layout
Blue Notho is an carnivore that swims in the lowest part of the tank. It is safe with plants. Give it plenty of cover. It digs, so anchor plants and keep hard rock off loose sand.
