One of the smallest known freshwater characins, displaying an iridescent silver body with ruby-red fin accents in courting males. It is exquisitely fragile and easily intimidated by larger fishes. Keep this nano jewel in a dedicated blackwater biotope with gentle filtration, leaf litter, and live micro-foods.
