Jaguar Catfish
Liosomadoras oncinus
Freshwater South America
A gorgeous driftwood catfish adorned with complex black-and-gold rosette patterns reminiscent of a jaguar. Nocturnal and timid by day, it hides in hollow logs and can swallow small fish under the cover of total darkness.

Tags marked estimated are judged from the size and habits of the species rather than measured, so treat them as a sensible default.
Diet and tank layout
Jaguar Catfish is an carnivore that swims in the lowest part of the tank. It is safe with plants. Give it plenty of cover. It will eat fish small enough to swallow.
