Yellowfin Chalceus
Chalceus erythrurus
Freshwater South America
A glittering, large-scaled characin that cruises surface waters, flashing yellow fins and a red tail. They are nervous surface sprinters that will leap forcefully if startled. Keep them in a long, well-covered aquarium in a small group or as a lone individual.
