Camouflage Banjo Catfish
Bunocephalus amaurus
Freshwater South America
Resembling a decayed leaf, this cryptic banjo catfish spends daylight hours buried in soft sand with only its eyes exposed. It is entirely peaceful with fish too large to swallow. Keep it over fine sand so it can burrow freely without scraping its delicate underbelly.
Also called: Camouflaged catfish, Banjo catfish.

Diet and tank layout
Camouflage Banjo Catfish is an carnivore that swims in the lowest part of the tank. It is safe with plants. Give it plenty of cover. It digs, so anchor plants and keep hard rock off loose sand. It will eat fish small enough to swallow.
