Inirida Dwarf Cichlid
Apistogramma iniridae
Freshwater South America
The Inirida Dwarf Cichlid is an exquisite, sailfin apistogramma endemic to acidic blackwaters of the Orinoco basin. Males boast an enormous sail-like dorsal fin raised in territorial displays. They require exceptionally soft, acidic water and cave-rich setups filled with leaf litter to survive in captivity.

Tags marked estimated are judged from the size and habits of the species rather than measured, so treat them as a sensible default.
Diet and tank layout
Inirida Dwarf Cichlid is an carnivore that swims in the lowest part of the tank. It is safe with plants. Give it plenty of cover. It digs, so anchor plants and keep hard rock off loose sand.
