Green Panchax
Aplocheilus blockii
Brackish South Asia Usually captive bred
A small surface-dwelling killifish from coastal wetlands of southern India and Sri Lanka with brilliant iridescent spots. It tolerates fresh to low-salinity brackish water with ease. Being a predatory surface lurker, it will readily snap up tiny newly hatched fry and has unmatched jumping skills.

Diet and tank layout
Green Panchax is an carnivore that swims in the upper water. It is safe with plants. Give it some cover. It will eat fish small enough to swallow.
