Red Zebra Cichlids are originally from the Malawi Lake in Africa but can also be farm raised here in the USA. Red Zebra Cichlids grow to around 5 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 50 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for them. Red Zebra Cichlids are semi-aggressive and should not be kept with other more peaceful species of fish that they may attack and harm. Keep this Cichlid with other aggressive fish to keep its behavior in check. Red Zebra Cichlids are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet with plenty of herbivore and carnivore preparations for best health.
