Native to the Tropical Eastern Atlantic, specifically the Bahamas and The Grand Cayman Islands. A slender bodied fish with two yellow stripes running down each side, connecting atop the head in the shape of a "V." This is a handy little fish for any aquarium as it likes to clean parasites off other fish. This helps control diseases in the aquarium. From this cleaning activity it has received the name Genie's Cleaning Goby. It is also known as a Brazilian Neon Goby and Shovelnose Goby.

Food: (Omnivore) Generally not a picky eater, it will accept both flakes and pellets. Occasionally, it must be offered a fresh, frozen or live food such as mysid shrimp or shaved raw table shrimp.
Adaptation: Needs places to hide and establish a territory. Swimming room at all levels and a sandy bottom.
Compatibility: Does best in a reef system aquarium with peaceful tank-mates.
