Yellow Rim Cod Groupers grow to around 17 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 140 gallons in size to provide them with plenty of swimming and living room. Yellow Rim Cod Groupers are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet such as zooplankton and other meaty preparations with the occasional vegetable preparation. Yellow Rim Cod Groupers can be aggressive, and should only be kept with other fish that can defend themselves.
