Aquarium Related Tips

1. Make any adjustments to the placement of the decorations in your aquarium before you fill up the aquarium all the way.† Not doing this can cause an overflow when you reach into the tank.

2. When you purchase your aquarium and the equipment for your setup, do not purchase the fish at the same time.† You are going to need plenty of time to cycle the water in the aquarium to make it hospitable for the fish in your aquarium.

3. When adding plants to the aquarium, be sure to check the lighting needs.† Try to find plants that will fit the pre-existing lighting conditions of your aquarium.† You should avoid plants that require much more light than the fish in your aquarium.

Yellow Assessor Basslets are carnivores and should be fed diets with plenty of meaty foods and carnivore preparations for best health.
