The Weeksii Bicher is also called by other names such as the Fatheaded bicher or the Mottled Bicher. This Bichir is also from the Congo Basin in Africa. The Weeksii Bichir is snakelike in appearance and greenish brown in color along with black banding on its body. The Weeksii Bicher does best in larger sized aquariums where it has plenty of room to roam around and live in. This species will get aggressive if put into closer quarters, and it will eat smaller fish or any fish that can fit into its mouth. The Weeksii Bicher is carnivorous and should be fed a steady diet of live food, but you may also feed the Weeksii bicher chopped meat.
