Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is generally recommended to use natural gravel for the aquarium. Colored gravel can be used, as long as it is professionally made, certain cheaply made color gravels can be toxic to fish in your aquarium.

2. You need to have some healthy natural bacteria to process the wastes and chemicals in your aquarium. This will take around 4 weeks to grow naturally, but you can purchase products to speed up the process.

3. Try to provide an environment that is as stable as possible, fluctuations in the aquarium can have a negative impact on the aquarium. Try to keep the temperature and PH levels fairly balanced in your aquarium.

Waratah Anemone

$24.00

Waratah Anemones are commonly called Strawberry Anemones or Red Flower Anemones. Waratah Anemones are found all over the globe in many different colors and forms, and some species of them can be rare to find. Waratah Anemones should be kept in an aquarium where they can receive bright lighting along with moderate to high water flow. This anemone should not be used as a host anemone for species of clown fish, and should only be kept as a stand alone in the aquarium. Waratah Anemone’s grow to around 2 inches across, but like with all anemone’s they are hard to predict and can grow much larger.
