Vlamingi Tangs are originally from the Indo-Pacific region of the ocean around Japan to the Great Barrier Reef. Vlamingi Tangs grow to around 10-14 inches in the home aquarium and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 125 gallons to provide plenty of swimming and living space for these fish. Vlamingi tangs are herbivores and should be fed plenty of algae and spiraling along with other herbivore preparations for best health. Vlamingi Tangs are peaceful but should not be kept with their own kind or other tangs of the same color.
Size: Can grow up to 14 inches at full maturity
Feeding: Herbivore, should be fed plenty of vegetable preparations for best health.
Aquarium: Saltwater, can be kept in the reef aquarium with little problem.
Minimum Tank Size: 125 Gallons
Compatibility: Can be kept with other peaceful fish in a community aquarium. Do not keep this fish with more of its own kind or other tangs of the same coloration.
