Velvet Sea Slugs are originally from the waters of the Western Pacific around Japan and the Philippines. Velvet Sea Slugs grow to around 3 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons in size. Velvet Sea Slugs are peaceful members of the aquarium and should be kept with other peaceful creatures in the aquarium. Do not keep this slug with aggressive creatures, as they may harm them. Velvet Sea Slugs are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet with plenty of brine shrimp, mysid shrimp, and other meaty preparations for best health. These slugs are hard to care for, and should only be kept by the advanced aquarium owner.
