Aquarium Related Tips

1. Only use medication in your aquarium when you are out of other options. You should use a separate tank to medicate sick fish as some medications can have harmful effects on healthy fish.

2. It is a good idea to perform a frequent water change and cleaning schedule. Changing the water in your aquarium will keep it clean for the fish that live in the aquarium. Keep a full stock of the water treatment chemicals you will need for this purpose.

3. It is a good idea to keep carbon on hand in case of emergencies. Carbon can be used to soak up anything harmful that may be introduced into your aquarium. So keeping an emergency stock can be a life saver.

Trochus Snail

$37.00

Trochus Snails are originally from the waters of the Indo-Pacific, around Australian and up to Sri Lanka. Trochus Snails are peaceful members of the aquarium and should not be kept with more aggressive species that will possibly harm it. Trochus Snails are easy to care for, and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem. Trochus Snails are herbivores, and will feed on algae and other herbivore preparations. For best health, make sure you feed this snail plenty of herbivore preparations. Trochus Snails grow to a maximum size of 1 inch at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these snails.
