(Osphronemidae ~ Luciocephalinae) Three-spot Gourami/Blue-Gourami
The Three-spot Gourami are identical to the Blue Gourami. Even though it is called Three-spot, it really only has two spots, but they call it Three-spot because they count the eye as the third spot. These fish are generally good natured fish. They have a fairly long life span and develop individual personalities. They understand their surroundings and will be able to identify their owners, and they use their pelvic fins to feel their tank mates out to get familiar with them. They can be a very fun fish to have around. They grow up to 4".
