Saltwater

Native to the Indo-Pacific area, this unique looking fish is also know as a Leafy Filefish, a Tassled Leatherjacket and a Prickly Leatherjacket. Its blue with green blothes body is compressed and shaped like a leaf. It is covered in skin flaps and tassles, which help it blend into the sea-grass where it finds food and lives. It has an elongated first dorsal fin than can be erected toward predators scaring them away. They also have front incisor teeth, which it grinds, causing a growling sound. This fish is a great addition to every aquarium.
