Aquarium Related Tips

1. If you have a protein skimmer you should shut it off when you are adding medicine to your aquarium. The protein skimmer will remove any medicines added to the aquarium.

2. You should keep some brushes on hand, especially if you are a reef aquarium owner. With your brushes you will be able to clean off any built up grime from inside your aquarium or on the surfaces of your hard corals.

3. You should always take the time to acclimate your fish to the aquarium. Acclimating your fish will get them used to the environment of the aquarium. Adding fish directly can be too much a shock for your fish and can pose health hazards.

Synodontis Soloni Catfish

$0.00

Soloni Catfish are another species of catfish that comes from Africa. They are generally peaceful and will scavenge at the bottom of your aquarium to clean up any messes left behind by other fish. You should Feed the Soloni Catfish, Bloodworms, brine shrimp, flake and pellet food to supplement its scavenging diet. You should have a larger aquarium to house the Soloni Catfish as it needs plenty of room to swim around in, and you should make sure that the aquarium is also full of plants and rocks and crevices where the Soloni catfish can easily hide. These Catfish are very peaceful and make a great addition to the aquarium.
