Synodontis Ocellifer Catfish are originally from the river systems of Western Africa, and is a very peaceful tank mate, usually skimming along the bottom to find bits of food. You should keep the Ocellifer catfish in a tank of at least 50 gallons as it needs a lot of room to move around and live freely. You should also have a lot of plant life and rocks in your aquarium to make for good hiding spots for the Ocellifer Catfish. You should feed your Ocellifer Catfish pellets, freeze-dried bloodworms, and other quality flake food for a well rounded diet. These fish are very peaceful and a good pet or even an addition to an aquarium.
