Aquarium Related Tips

1. When adding particularly aggressive fish to your aquarium, it is a good idea to move around the rocks and such in the aquarium before placing the new fish into the aquarium. Moving the rocks in the aquarium will allow the fish to go back and stake out their own territory.

2. Cichlids tend to be very intelligent fish. You should do your best to interact with them as some species will respond positively to you arriving home. These fish are very active and if you interact with them, they can develop much better.

3. Make any adjustments to the placement of the decorations in your aquarium before you fill up the aquarium all the way. Not doing this can cause an overflow when you reach into the tank.

Synodontis Decorus Catfish

$27.75

The Synodontis Decorus Catfish is also known as the Decorus catfish. The Decorus Catfish must have a large aquarium of at least 50 gallons, along with the addition of various plants and plenty of rocks, to live healthily. The Decorus Catfish is very non aggressive and enjoys places where it can hide during the day to remain by itself. The Decorus catfish is omnivorous and will be best kept on a diet of flaked foods, tablets, and types of live food. The Decorus Catfish makes a great pet and is a good eye catching member of your aquarium, they are very docile and interesting to watch. You should keep this catfish with other catfish around its size or other fish that are larger than it.
