Aquarium Related Tips

1. Clownfish do not always need to be with a sea anemone. Clownfish use anemoneís in the wild and they are not completely necessary in the home aquarium. If you insist on owning an anemone, you need to have plenty of experience to take care of it as they can be difficult to manage.

2. You should always purchase the correct lighting setup for your aquarium. Doing this will make the habitat much better for the fish and plants in your aquarium.

3. Make sure to always keep your aquarium level when placing it. If your aquarium is uneven, the weight of the water can press against the seems and this can cause major problems in your aquarium.

Symphyllia Brain

$35.95

The Symphyllia Brain is a species of coral that is very successful and absolutely thrives in captivity. This coral is very tolerant of different conditions but it is best to place it where it can receive bright indirect light. You should also place your Symphyllia Brain coral where it can receive low to moderate water flow. This coral is sensitive to the presence of some other species of soft coral such as Xenia and Litophyton. This coral has a healthy appetite and will respond to eat zooplankton, phytoplankton and algae in your aquarium. This is a very easy coral to keep and is relatively low maintenance, makes a great addition to a starting aquarium.
