(lipropoma rubre) Saltwater
A rare aquarium fish, as it inhabits very deep waters inside the recesses of coral reefs. They are difficult to capture because they rarely venture out of their home, except to find food; leaving their home puts it at risk of becoming another sea creature's dinner. Because of its rarity, this is a very sought after fish. It has an elongated body with alternating horizontal stripes of dark red and yellow that run from the nose to the end of the tail. The dorsal fins have a black spot, as does the caudal fin, which has two spots connected by a black bar. The mouth and nose are purple. Not to be confused with the Swale's Swissguard, which has different coloration's.
