Aquarium Related Tips

1. Clownfish do not always need to be with a sea anemone. Clownfish use anemoneís in the wild and they are not completely necessary in the home aquarium. If you insist on owning an anemone, you need to have plenty of experience to take care of it as they can be difficult to manage.

2. Angelfish are normally very peaceful fish, in times of breeding they can get aggressive. It is a good idea to only keep one pair of mating angelfish in the same aquarium, as more of them can lead to infighting.

3. When starting out a new aquarium, it is best to add hardier species at first. Once your aquarium ages a bit and gets settled, you can start to add more sensitive fish to the aquarium.

Sterba's Cory

$9.50

The Sterba Cory Cat is a very peaceful bottom dwelling Cory Cat. You should make sure to keep the Sterba Cory Cat in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons to allow for plenty of room for the Sterba Cory Cat to swim around in. They are very peaceful bottom dwelling fish and are best kept with other peaceful bottom dwelling fish. They are relatively small and grow to only around 3 inches in length. You should also be sure to include a lot of rocks and plants in your aquarium to provide the Sterba Cory Cat with plenty of places to hide if it feels threatened. The Sterba Cory Cat is an omnivore and should be fed a variety of flake and pellet foods along with live food such as brine shrimp and worms.
