Sparkling Gourami fish are from South East Asia, originating from countries such as Thailand. These fish are very sensitive to the water conditions in your fish tank and for this reason they are not recommended for beginning fish tank owners. Sparkling Gourami are very beautiful, with blue and silver markings alongside their body they are very eye catching. Sparkling Gourami fish grow to only 1 ¬? inches in length, and have a short lifespan of only 2 years. To reduce aggression in these fish you should be sure to have more than 3 in your aquarium, and you should also provide plenty of plant and rock cover for these fish. Sparkling Gourami fish are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet of flake and pellet foods, along with the occasional meaty treat.
