Social by nature, the Snakeskin Discus does best in a group of 3 or more. You should keep the Snakeskin Discus in an aquarium of at least 50 gallons and provide plenty of plant and rock cover. The Snakeskin Discus is a beautiful specimen marked with brownish copper-ish tones and a blue-ish background, giving the appearance of snake scales in certain light. The Snake Skin discus does best in an aquarium where there are not a lot of disturbances, such as people walking by or loud noises. This discus should be fed a steady diet of bloodworms and insect larvae, along with other rich meaty foods.
