The minimum order allowed is $350.00. Orders under $350.00 will incur an additional $25.00 service charge if filled on Monday and $15.00 service charge if filled on Tuesday - Thursday. Shipping will not be done Friday through Sunday. In the event that some items are not available when your order is processed, be sure to indicate what replacement items you would prefer to avoid being charged for a low fill order.
Orders are best received one to two days before the receiving date. We are unable to guarantee same day or next day arrivals.
Sales are based on our best knowledge of inventory. If your size is not in stock at time of shipping, we will send the closest we have (one size either larger or smaller only). This policy insures your order is fulfilled promptly. Please specify if you will not accept a size substitution on an item with a sales rep. Please notify the sales rep if there are any weather conditions that would affect delivery. Prices are in U.S. Dollars and subject to change without notice.
Shipments are sent with the prime carrier and route for deliveries and are expected to arrive safely. In the event of a delay or mishandling by the carrier, the delivery must be picked up regardless of circumstance. If you refuse to pick up your shipment under any circumstance, any claim you or your carrier had right to will be void. Deliveries must be picked up within a 3 hour window of arrival or as soon as available by carrier. Getahugetank.com is not responsible for any late or mishandled shipment and cannot guarantee delivery time. In the event that your shipment arrives damaged or takes longer than 48 hours to reach you, you must inspect your package upon accepting it and any problems should be reported promptly to a representative of the airline. In this event you are required to obtain a claim form at pickup time and fax a copy of the inspection report, claim form, DOA list and copy of the paid air-bill to Getahugetank.com within 48 hours. If you fail to follow the procedures listed above, it may void any claims to be paid on by the carrier or Getahugetank.com. The procedure if all criteria is followed is to issue 50% of the livestock claim with the next invoice, and the amount would be applied as soon as the claim is fully paid by the airline.
The Live Arrival guarantee is only for direct flights and losses above 3%. Transfer flights will not be covered and all orders shipped by the couriers of DHL, UPS, or any door to door delivery service as they do not assume liability for live animals in the event of shipping delays. Getahugetank.com in the event of a failure of service will do its best to recover shipping costs for the customer, we however cannot guarantee on any DOA credits for live animal deliveries unless otherwise provided on Terms and Conditions.
Purchases of less than $350.00 are not guaranteed. Invertebrates or fish with a value of over $50.00 are not guaranteed. Also not guaranteed are Sharks and Sting Rays. Animals that are "Dead on Arrival" or "Did Not Receive" (DNR) and are being claimed must be included in a fax report within 12 hours of their arrival at your local hub..This Fax must be faxed attached to the original invoice with DOA&DNR correctly selected next to where the items appear on your invoice. Invoices must be paid in full. If a credit is approved it will be applied next time you order. Credits on your account must be applied within a 30 day window otherwise they will be considered forfeit. Orders that have been cancelled after being packed are subject to a re-stocking fee of 10%. Photographic evidence must be presented in DOA Claims exceeding 10%..
The major credit cards of Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Disocver and prepaid are acceptable. C.O.D MONEY ORDER shipments are not accepted. Company check and wire transfer may be arranged (be sure to allow for your check to clear before your order is shipped).
