Aquarium Related Tips

1. Some people go by the ìinch of fish, gallon of water rule when deciding on how large of an aquarium to buy. This is a completely false and bad method to go by, you should always check your individual fish's tank requirements.

2. When breeding angelfish, it is normal for the first spawn to suffer heavy losses and not make it all the way to the hatching phase. You should have the proper equipment before you start to breed angelfish.

3. After establishing your aquarium, pick fish that will add well to the current water conditions in your aquarium. Also be sure to check their temperament and other needs to be sure that they will make the transition in your aquarium smoothly.

Shaving Brush Plant

$24.95

Shaving Brush Plants are originally from the waters of the tropical Atlantic around the Caribbean Sea. Shaving Brush Plants should be kept in the aquarium where they can receive moderate lighting along with medium water flow. Shaving Brush Plants are easy to care for, and can be kept even by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem. Shaving Brush Plants will not normally be bothered by fish and invertebrates but you may have a bit of a problem if you keep sea urchins with this plant in the aquarium. Supplement your plants with iron and trace elements for best health.
