Aquarium Related Tips

1. When adding particularly aggressive fish to your aquarium, it is a good idea to move around the rocks and such in the aquarium before placing the new fish into the aquarium. Moving the rocks in the aquarium will allow the fish to go back and stake out their own territory.

2. You should keep plenty of water testing kits for your aquarium. Testing kits can measure the levels of harmful and beneficial chemicals in the aquarium. You will need these testing kits for the frequent water changes for your aquarium.

3. Goldfish can live incredibly long periods of up to 25 years. You should plan accordingly when you purchase a goldfish.

Serpent Starfish

$9.95

Serpent Starfish are originally from the waters of the Caribbean, Eastern Asia, and around the Islands of Fiji. Serpent Starfish grow to a maximum size of around 14 inches across, and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 60 gallons to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these creatures. Serpent Starfish are carnivores, and should be fed a steady diet of chopped meat, shrimp, muscles, and other meaty preparations for best health. Serpent Starfish are widely kept for their beautiful appearance and peaceful nature. Make sure you keep this starfish only with other peaceful creatures. These starfish are easy to care for, and can be kept by even the beginning aquarium owner with little problem.
