Aquarium Related Tips

1. Clownfish are all born as males, but when the age and get older they have the amazing ability to switch sexes .

2. You should always thoroughly research the type of aquarium you are going to be setting up before you purchase it. Make sure you have the proper gallon capacity and shape that will fit in your home.

3. It is not considered a good idea to keep aggressive fish with fish of other temperaments. You should keep peaceful fish in an aquarium with other peaceful fish to avoid any sort of fighting between the fish. Aggressive fish should only be kept with other aggressive fish.

Sebae Anemone

$28.95

Sebae Anemone’s are generally light tan to brown in color, with purple tips on the tentacles. The Sebae Anemone is one of the more difficult species of Anemone to acclimate to your aquarium. Sebae Anemone require heavy lighting and will likely wither and die if your lighting is not strong enough for them. Low dissolved organic matter can help to fortify the Sebae Anemone. Make sure that your nitrate levels are low, too high of a nitrate level can kill this anemone quicker than anything else. The Sebae anemone will find its own spot in your aquarium, but if it parks itself too close to a coral neighbor it can sting and injure the coral.
