Aquarium Related Tips

1. When adding particularly aggressive fish to your aquarium, it is a good idea to move around the rocks and such in the aquarium before placing the new fish into the aquarium. Moving the rocks in the aquarium will allow the fish to go back and stake out their own territory.

2. You must always treat the water in the aquarium before attempting to place fish. If you fail to treat the water the fish can die from the condition of the water.

3. You should keep some brushes on hand, especially if you are a reef aquarium owner. With your brushes you will be able to clean off any built up grime from inside your aquarium or on the surfaces of your hard corals.

Sand Sifting Cucumber

$8.95

Sand Sifting Sea Cucumbers come from the waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Sand Sifting Sea Cucumbers can grow up to 6 feet in length and should be kept in a very large aquarium to provide them with plenty of swimming and living room. Sand Sifting Sea Cucumbers are omnivores and will generally feed off of left over food from the other creatures in the aquarium. If the tank is overstocked, make sure to provide a bit of supplemental food to keep this creature in best health. Sand Sifting Sea Cucumbers are generally easy to care for, and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem.
