Aquarium Related Tips

1. When adding particularly aggressive fish to your aquarium, it is a good idea to move around the rocks and such in the aquarium before placing the new fish into the aquarium.  Moving the rocks in the aquarium will allow the fish to go back and stake out their own territory.

2. When you are removing a large ornamental rock from your aquarium, make sure to check all the nooks and crannies.  Some fish love to hide in there and it is good to double check to make sure you don't leave one of your fish out of water.

3. In larger aquariums, you should put a few scavenger fish in the tank.  Scavenger fish will help to clean up left behind food and wastes from the other fish in the aquarium.  This is a good eco friendly way to keep your aquarium clean.
