Aquarium Related Tips

1. Make any adjustments to the placement of the decorations in your aquarium before you fill up the aquarium all the way. Not doing this can cause an overflow when you reach into the tank.

2. Catfish sometimes require freshwater as juveniles and then as they get old they will need a more brackish environment. Make sure you read up on your catfish to learn what its needs will be when it gets older.

3. You should be sure to rinse out all of the materials you are going to be placing in the aquarium with water. Do not use soap or detergents, soap can cause toxic results for the fish in your aquarium. Just rinse the equipment with distilled water.

Saddle Anemone

$75.95

Saddle Anemones are difficult to care for, they should only be cared for by the experienced aquarium owner for best results. Saddle Anemones can host a variety of clownfish species including Ocellaris, Percula Clowns, amongst others. Saddle Anemones can sting, and should be kept away from peaceful corals as they can sting and damage them. You should target feed the Saddle Anemone with pieces of fish, krill, and muscles on a regular basis. This Anemone requires a constant supplementation of Iodine for its health. Again, I want to recommend that only the experienced aquarium owner attempt to care for this anemone, as it is very hard to care.
