Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should take out any carbon filters in the aquarium when you are medicating your fish. The carbon in the filter will remove the medicine from the water, so it is best to remove it all together.

2. It is good to budget out the cost of your aquarium. You should leave plenty of money to purchase quality filters, pumps, and heaters for your aquarium. Your big aquarium is going to do you no good if you do not have the proper equipment to keep it going.

3. When you are removing a large ornamental rock from your aquarium, make sure to check all the nooks and crannies. Some fish love to hide in there and it is good to double check to make sure you donít leave one of your fish out of water.

Ritteri Anemone

$28.95

Ritteri Anemone should be place in an aquarium with moderate to high florescent bulbs to provide lighting. They also require a high dynamic in water flow from moderate to high. You can place the Ritteri Anemone in your aquarium anywhere you wish but they will most likely move to find the best position for them. If you would like to supplement your anemone, the best way to do so is to add trace elements and iodine. This Anemone is a host to the skunk and tomato clownfish and is best kept in a tank with those species. Anemone’s make great additions to your aquarium as they are both beautiful and serve as filter feeders to help keep your tank clean.
