Reef Butterfly Fish are originally from the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the Caribbean Sea. Reef Butterflyfish grow to around 9 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 70 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these fish. Reef Butterflyfish are semi aggressive, mainly aggressive for their own species, but they will behave peacefully around other fish. Reef Butterflyfish are easy to care for and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem. Reef Butterflyfish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet of brine shrimp and frozen foods.
