Aquarium Related Tips

1. When adding new species to your aquarium, you have to ease them in. Adding too many fish too quickly can cause the ammonia and chemical levels to raise quickly. Adding fish slowly gives your filter time to catch up.

2. You should keep the temperature in your aquarium constant. Constant change in the aquarium can be dangerous for the fish in your aquarium. Keep a quality heater and accurate thermometer to ensure that the water stays stable for the aquarium.

3. Catfish sometimes require freshwater as juveniles and then as they get old they will need a more brackish environment. Make sure you read up on your catfish to learn what its needs will be when it gets older.

Red Mushroom

$45.75

Red Mushroom Coral comes from the waters of the Central Pacific and around Eastern and Southern Asia. Red Mushroom Coral should be kept in a spot in the aquarium where it can receive moderate lighting along with low to medium waterflow. You can place this coral anywhere in the aquarium where it can meet both its waterflow and lighting needs. Red Mushroom Coral is a semi-aggressive species and should not be kept next to more peaceful species that it will encroach upon. You should keep this coral next to other corals that are aggressive to keep its movements in check. As with most other corals, make sure to supplement your Red Mushroom with iodine and trace elements.
