Aquarium Related Tips

1. Pay close attention to your fish's PH needs and augment your aquarium as necessary to accommodate the new fish you are adding to your aquarium.

2. Make sure to always keep your aquarium level when placing it. If your aquarium is uneven, the weight of the water can press against the seems and this can cause major problems in your aquarium.

3. You should always thoroughly research the type of aquarium you are going to be setting up before you purchase it. Make sure you have the proper gallon capacity and shape that will fit in your home.

Purple Lobster

$25.95

Purple lobsters are very beautiful crustaceans. They have bright purple and orange bodies that are covered in thick bristly hairs. Usually during the day the purple lobster will spend its time under rock cover and claim a piece of territory as their own. As the lights dim however the purple lobster will venture out of its hiding place to find food, but if startled the purple lobster will head back for its hiding spot for safety. Generally speaking lobsters are mostly scavengers but they can be harmful to smaller fish if you venture to close to them. But unlike other lobsters purple lobsters are smaller and do not grow to get to large, and are safe to place into most reef aquariums.
