1. It is a good idea to clean your aquarium with a soft wash cloth and warm water.† The soft cloth will not leave scratches on the inside of your aquarium and will remove any unsightly stains.
2. Catfish sometimes require freshwater as juveniles and then as they get old they will need a more brackish environment.† Make sure you read up on your catfish to learn what its needs will be when it gets older.
3. When you purchase your aquarium and the equipment for your setup, do not purchase the fish at the same time.† You are going to need plenty of time to cycle the water in the aquarium to make it hospitable for the fish in your aquarium.
