Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should always stay up to date on the new and exciting practices for fish keeping. Subscribe to several news letters to keep up to date. If you like to read, go to your local library and get some books on fish keeping.

2. It is not recommended to keep your aquarium where it receives direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight can upset the balance of the aquarium and can raise aquarium temperature levels. It is best to keep your aquarium in a place where you can control the lighting.

3. Avoid placing your aquarium near a radiator or any other form of heater. The heat given off by these devices can easily upset the temperature balance in your aquarium. Raised temperature levels can kill off the fish and plants that you have in your aquarium.
