Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should take out any carbon filters in the aquarium when you are medicating your fish. The carbon in the filter will remove the medicine from the water, so it is best to remove it all together.

2. Clownfish are all born as males, but when the age and get older they have the amazing ability to switch sexes .

3. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand. If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.

Pom Pom Crab

$7.40

Pom Pom Crabs are originally from the waters of the Pacific Ocean and around Hawaii. Pom Pom Crabs grow to around an inch in length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these crabs. Pom Pom Crabs are omnivores and should be fed a supplemental diet in between scavenging. Pom Pom Crabs can be a bit aggressive, and should not be kept near more peaceful species that may attack and harm. Keep these crabs with other semi-aggressive tank mates for best results. These crabs can be kept even by the beginning aquarium owner, due to their ease of care.
