The Pistol tiger shrimp looks much like a lobster in form but are found with multiple color variations. They can make loud snapping sounds with their large claws to deter predators from attacking. The Pistol Tiger Shrimp is a scavenger and can clean your tank of any uneaten flakes, pellets, or whatever else the fish in your tank do not eat. Pistol Tiger shrimp are generally best paired with goby species as they tend to form a strong symbiotic relationship. This shrimp can be dangerous to smaller fish in your aquarium and is best kept around gobies or larger sized species to make sure that they get along in the most peaceful way.
