Aquarium Related Tips

1. If you have a protein skimmer you should shut it off when you are adding medicine to your aquarium. The protein skimmer will remove any medicines added to the aquarium.

2. Always use a new or clean bucket when going through the acclimation or water changing process. A bucket that has been used to hold bleach or other chemicals can be very harmful for the fish in your aquarium.

3. When you purchase your aquarium and the equipment for your setup, do not purchase the fish at the same time. You are going to need plenty of time to cycle the water in the aquarium to make it hospitable for the fish in your aquarium.

Pink & Black Cucumber

$37.00

Pink and Black Sea Cucumbers are originally from the waters of the Indo-Pacific and also around the Hawaiian Islands. Pink and Black Sea Cucumbers grow to around 8 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 50 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for them. Pink and Black Sea Cucumbers should be placed at the bottom of the aquarium on a sandy substrate. Pink and Black Sea Cucumbers can be kept in the reef aquarium with no problem, and are peaceful tank mates to other fish in the aquarium. Pink and Black Sea Cucumber are a bit hard to care for, and should only be kept by the experienced aquarium owner.
