Discus Fish are very beautiful and alluring fish, widely renowned in the aquarium community for its beautiful design and its playful attitude. The Red Pigeon Blood Discus does best in groups, and should only be kept in aquariums that can provide pristine water quality, if you own these fish, you should make sure to check the water levels in the aquarium every day. For every adult Discus Fish you have in your aquarium you should allow for 10gallons of water, so if you keep 4 of them you should have at least a 40 gallon aquarium. You should also make sure to provide plenty of plant cover for hiding places for these fish. As for diet, you should feed the Red Pigeon Blood Discus rich meaty foods such as worms and larvae, and supplement with flake and pellet food.
