The Pictus Catfish has very long whiskers and an elongated body with beautiful black markings all along it. This Catfish is very sought after in the fresh water aquarium hobby, as it is very strikingly beautiful with its long whiskers. The Pictus Catfish normally uses the long whiskers as feelers, to navigate, and to look for food. The Pictus Catfish is good to have in your aquarium as it will help eat the uneaten scraps of food that may be floating around the aquarium. But the Pictus Catfish should no have to rely on the scraps to survive, you should feed this fish a diet of meaty foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp. This Catfish is non aggressive and makes a good tank mate for the other fish in the aquarium.
